READ-It update on high impact reviews (August - October 2019)

06 Nov 2019

From August - October 2019, READ-It published three high-impact reviews through the CIDG. The full-text open access articles are listed below.

This new review was part of the suite of malaria vector control reviews that informed the recent World Health Organization (WHO) ‘Guidelines for malaria vector control’. Used in: WHO Malaria Vector Control Guidelines (Feb 2019)

This review update has been a major undertaking. The review author team addressed every criticism published in a paper that was 49 pages long, and a set of overlapping (but not quite) comments submitted separately. They also conducted some analyses that people have commented on in the past – stratifying by types of worm and types of worm burden. The author team included new trials, and reflected on the review, drawing out more clearly that the only effects seen on weight were from studies conducted over 20 years ago.
