Is routine Vitamin A supplementation still justified for children in Nepal? Trial synthesis findings applied to Nepal national mortality estimates

The WHO has recommended Vitamin A supplementation for children in low- and middle-income countries for many years to reduce child mortality. Nepal still practices routine Vitamin A supplementation. The authors examined the potential current impact of these programs using national data in Nepal combined with an update of the mortality effect estimate from a meta-analysis of RCTs.

This is the fourth version of this review. The authors of this review wanted to know whether chest imaging is accurate enough to diagnose COVID‐19 in people with suspected infection. They also wanted to assess the accuracy of chest imaging for screening asymptomatic people. The evidence is up to date to 17 February 2021.
